Wouldn't it be just a matter of copying all the files from all the CDs onto your HD and then burning to DVD? Or does the install/config files point to certain discs? I heard of the same thing for Gabriel Knight 2 as well.

Not a game problem but rather a hardware problem. I have 2 HDDs and a CD-ROM. In the 486's BIOS there is only an option to detect the Master and Slave drives. Actually, never mind, guys. I figured it out. Must have been a problem with the RAM. I had one 32MB SDRAM stick and 2 EDO (I think) 4MB sticks in and I took the EDO ones out and now it works fine.
