Thanks for the notes. I get that. Looking at the datasheet recently. No pins are exposed that can be used directly or with minimal intervention. At least thats how i remember it. My question was specifically about the physical location of the components, so the incursion on the package is minimal.

3 isa scsi controllers and one other card that i dont know what it does (lower right). was not able to make the scsi controllers work with CF cards. so be warned.

The 10MHz ISA bus test is with 386DX processor. I described the 4 test scenarios at the beginning of the post, but will repeat them right on top of every chart, so the context does not get lost.

Wait for the YB board to arrive. That will allow you to intersect the prob. So far didnt hit a 386 hw config that hard-fails with 387 chips like that, but i dont test this class components with w95 and nt.

From your description it looks like something specific to win95 and dtk pem 4030y. Otherwise the rest of the op systs will not work too. Few quick searches online revealed nothing about this kind of stuff.

I was not able to get SpeedSys working on the motherboard here. High chance L1 cache is in WT mode, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Many systems like it better that way. Cool. This looks better indeed. That 64Mb RAM only in Windows looks like stability/incompatibility problem. I don't think i tested this board with more than 64Mb system memory, so don't know. Also, do you get SpeedSys showing on your system ? That can show you if L1 is in WB or WT mode.

I didn't see frequencies associated with these CPUs, but i assume they are early/slow models, still reaching 40MHz, at least getting lights on screen, is doable for even 25MHz rated silicon. Do you know more about them ?
