Re: Rare(?) Sound blaster 16 card w/addon?

Might as well add a picture of the pair, right..? 20230305_154850.jpg Its a SB16 with the Sb32 Goldfinch add-on card, essentially the add-on card brings all the extra features of the SB32 to the SB16, its a nice little combination worth keeping. (Not seen a SB16 with a built in modem before but I'm …

Rare(?) Sound blaster 16 card w/addon?

Hi folks, I came across what I think is a bit rare of a card. It is labeled as "CT-3210", and I cannot find any info on it except some pictures on an Asian site. From the looks of it, it would *seem* to be a Phone Blaster card, combining modem and SB16? All the ones I have seen though are slightly …

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

So, while I was using a pack (still was v 0.82), I did just download the zip for v 0.94 but there is nothing in the templates folder besides the default.xml file (which is in fact there). Import default templates works however, so I did get them. Just seems they were not in the zip. Not sure what …

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

btw, are all those templates I see in the pic in some newer version or downloadable somewhere? These are the default templates coming with DBGL since version 0.77. You didn't get them installed? Please try Templates -> Import default templates. If that doesn't work, please try running DBGL from a …

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

Just right-click on an existing template and select "Duplicate"! duplicate.png Yeah, I just found it and feeling pretty stupid... Thanks! Bonus dumb Q: I know it's not DBGL specific, but is there any option to enable scanlines? Edit: btw, are all those templates I see in the pic in some newer …

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

Hi folks, Playing around with the launcher, and cannot find info on the following: Is it possible to copy/clone templates? I want to make variations of existing ones, but cannot find a way to do it from the GUI. I tired manually copying one, but it does not show up automatically and I dont know what …

Re: DOSBox and full screen on 4:3 monitor

If you're running it without an X server it won't be able to use the OpenGL output mode, which is required to scale the output to arbitrary sizes (like fixed 1024x768). So is that something that can be just running and it works etc? Or do you have to actually boot into that fist and then launch …

Re: DOSBox and full screen on 4:3 monitor

Most DOS Games are 320x200 or 640x480. There is no way to get them to 1024x768 without causing scrambled pixel mess or having to live with a super blurry picture. Your options are 960x600 and 640x480 with black bars for 320x200 and 640x480 games/programmes respectively. I´m willing to believe that, …

Pretty much what happens on this vid at the very beginning snd near the end, filling up that 4:3 monitor: https://youtu.be/U3kAGnVWPj0 …

DOSBox and full screen on 4:3 monitor

Hi All, I got myself a small 14" 4:3 monitor (native res is supposed to be 1024x768) to use for retro gaming. I am trying a distribution called DOSBIAN, which basically boots straight into DOSBox, either SVN or ECE. I set raspi-config to 1024x768, and wheb I boot up the OS itswlf fill the whole …
