Yes, games that use it for digital audio do not detect its presence either. I will start out by reflowing the legs of the ICs and report back then!

Instead of the turbo button, try using setmul.exe instead. With it set to disable L1 cache of the AMD 5x86, mine drops to a speed equivalent to somewhere around a 486 dx33. I suspect WC4 will be too much for the 5x86. I found it 'ok', but not pleasant. WC3 was fine though. WC4 really needs a …

You could technically do both. The Riva 128 is a 2D/3D card. I tried to look for Riva 128 in PCI flavour (AFAIK there was no AGP on 1997 MBs). It was scarce and too expensive. I already invested in Voodoo2 anyways. $210 AUD damn :) Riva128 has horrible Image quality, the Millennium II is superior …

I have similar FX5200 built on a blue PCB by ASUS. I use it as my goto test bench video card because it works in older AGP slots and has a DVI out. Perfect for what I need it for.
