Halo 3 campaign and multiplayer was just a great time. I logged so many hours doing both such good times.

I think you'll like it. I used it personally for years and it was stable and I had no compatibility issues with any games or other software I used.

I ran XP-64 on my Core 2 system for years with 8 gigs of RAM. It was stable as a rock and I had no issues with any software or games I ran. If you have a copy of it I'd say use it and don't look back.

I would start with replacing the cmos battery. I've had many many boards over the years either play dead or act really strangely with a dead,low, or missing bios battery. Once the system posts can you get into your OS?

Have you checked your bios battery to make sure it's not low or dead. I've had many many boards that would either act dead or behave really weird with a low/dead/missing bios battery.

It would appear that Quake Wars is still playable today from a quick search I just did. Splash Damage still has it's page up with the demo and patches all still available for download. It also looks like they have a map makers as well. I might have to dig out my copy and give it a shot.
