Roger. I went ahead and stored a .vbi of my card's bios just for the learning of it. Does it have any value, would it be appreciated in some database somewhere? Are there potentially other BIOSes not mentioned above that could be uploaded?

If memory serves me well, the cache slot in mention is proprietary and looks like a very short brown MCA/VLB style connector.

I do possess an MGA Ultima VLB 2+ which has sockets for filling up the last two megabytes of memory. I have seen pictures of the same card with all 4 megs soldered onto the card, instead of the brown sockets. However, the Ultima is not a gamers choice. I would start by removing every thing that is removable. All ram sticks, the cache chips, even the com port headers. Every damn thing.
