It would work. But ISA bus makes a big performance hit. But it also depends on the game. Some are not very "bus" intensive.

Hmm... the CPU on the photo is regular K6-2 500MHz with voltage of 2.2V. Usually you can overclock by 10-20% with additional or more powerful cooling.

It's 1KB L1 cache enabler. Most BIOSes support Cyrix cpus and have an option to enable it. So you don't need to run any other software. Also note the PCPlayer benchmark uses FPU and will run faster with one installed.

Depends on the CPU, mobo, cache and BIOS optimizations. Test bed should be the same when comparing one part - FPU in this case. In real apps the CPU makes much bigger difference then going from slowest to the fastest FPU.

AMD K6-III+ was nowhere to be found for normal consumers. I used to have K6-2 500@550 with Voodoo3 2000 in 1999 to 2001. Wasn't impressed but it was better then P-MMX 166@250 (on the same SS7 board). Even replaced it with P-II 350@475 a bit later. But finally bought an Athlon XP 1800+ and GF3 Ti200 …

Are you sure it was ATX? MHz display was usually only on AT cases and maybe a few early ATX cases. Some example AT/ATX cases:

Amiga - better graphics because of worse monitors? You can always make a comparison via emulation. Test the same game in DOSBOX and WinUAE at 1:1 scaling and with no image enhancements.

What OS will you use for the printer? Old printers means old drivers and newer systems are probably not supported anymore.
