Re: 0.70 Cycles=auto, but goes to 3000

Setting to cycles works better, even on "max" if I play Quake for example, it runs smooth and then skips a whole bunch of frames so it's very jerky. I noticed another problem, if I set aspect true and resolution to original, and play for example 320x200 game it will switch to 320x200, but it will …

Re: New system, MIDI problems

It works after I restart DOSBox, so I'm sure DOSBox could internally reset the MIDI device (but then it has to know when to do this) - it just didn't happen with my old machine. Shame there's no tweak to make the MS GS 44kHz instead!

New system, MIDI problems

Got a new Core 2 system with SoundMAX audio, which unfortunately no longer features its (great quality) MIDI driver that came with P4 SoundMAX. Window sometimes moves up when going to windowed from full screen, eventually so the title bar is off screen and you can't move it back (exposing a pet peeve of Windows in general, …

Re: OpenGL and NVIDIA warning

Yes also occurs in 84.21 and the newest 84.43. Ouch, are you using OpenGL output? It's OpenGL specific. I have a 6600 GT, obviously your mileage may vary. To test the reboot, just start a game and alt-enter a few times. If you can do it at least 20 times or so, you should be safe. If your system …
