I reverse engineered the WDM ES1969 driver which uses the ESFM registers (see NATV.CPP), and compiled a 64bit driver from it, in case anyone is interested: https://github.com/leecher1337/es1969/

Weird, it seems that the nfs mount point on the server messed up and mounted the wrong share... Now correct ftp.vaiolink.com got mounted again. I wonder how long it will last.

Oh, that sounds awful. I used 2 threads in download manager, I think archive.org even accepts 3 concurrent downloads but I didn't want to hammer them.

It took me 2 weeks to download it from archive.org, so 6 days sounds quite promising imho 😀 That's one reason why I made the HTTP mirror, in order to save people the time and hassle to wait forever just to get their desired driver.
