Glad to hear you sorted out your problem. Nice work. Thanks eL, That free download made it easy. Jorpho mentioned Python. Now I am thinking I might try looking into that to see if it would be any easier for writing a program from scratch. Can I get a Windows look with it instead of a DOS Window? …

Yeah, I have recompiled the old program (even made a few changes for esthetic reasons, i.e., line spacing) and it works just as it should. It took me over 3 hours to download the free program but it was worth it. Guess I'll keep it around in case I get froggy again. Bob PS - My eyes are sensitive to …

Sorry for the delay in responding. My ISP acted up. The diskette has a label with "Learn Pascal in Three Days (2nd Ed) Companion Diskette 1997 Wordware Publishing, Inc. 2320 Los Rios Blvd Plano, Texas 75074" on it. Book name is the same first line with Sam Abolrous (author) also. Just found old …

I wonder if the message is referring to Windows 3? If it is, then you could install an old copy of Windows 3 (still available on places like ebay) on to your current machine (you'll need a floppy disk drive), using the free to download DOSBox emulator, and then try running your Pascal program. Edit …
