hi, does anyone know what the extra graphical features are? and if they can be enabled? on my modern system with a gtx 1060 it just says "not available".

are there any more ddraw wrappers out that might make this playable on a new machine? been playing it on an old laptop for the last couple of days but would like to play it on my 13" laptop if possible, the wrapper doesn't work though. set lowest res set 16bit colour tried all windows compat options …

Well, Radeon 4870 (PCIe of course) and... a D3D 6 game. Yes, graphic card DOES matter :| A Geforce FX has a lot more chance to be compatible of course. It depends on how the drivers were made. what systems are you running xp on? I got it to run on xp without crashing. on a toshiba f10 laptop, xp mce, fx 5700, 512mb.

I think those screens were probable edited for marketing purposes. the bdf error is because some folders need to be copied off the cd. BDF & FXB, then it should load. I just installed expendable on an old laptop with a FX 5700 and it has bump mapping enabled but no embm as it's only for matrox …

tried on desktop with wrapper hd7770 gets to videos (corrupt) then crashes to desktop. gtx 675m on laptop gets to menu, mouse all slow. gtx 765m same.

finally, the game is playable with the wrapper, must of tried an older version. just completed the asteroid mission and it was nearly perfect, before it was unplayable and stuttered horribly. good work aqrit.

aahhhh gay, rogue squadron on win2k won't let me pick a video card, it keeps complaining that directx isn't installed but it is!! I give up....hopefully the rumored rs trilogy pack for the wii comes out...rumored to include the original game.
