Why not DMA 3 for the GoldLib? Nothing else should be using it. Also, an interesting CPU for this build would be a UMC 486, if the FPU isn't a requirement. Cool build!

I have no need for this myself, because I have an original GUSpnp card, but are you aware that there is also a .mmx driver for the codec? If you CPU supports MMX it provides much higher quality mixing (the default mixer is not very good) and it supports the resonant filters of the .IT format. Ooof …

Hi, does not seem to work on a ATI Stereo F/X card. The ATI Stereo F/X card DSP is usually detected as 2.01 on Creative Sound Blaster software, Mod Master XT detects it as a BlasterBoard.

Just curious but does the Orpheus 2 support the OPL3 in stereo mode? I think the game support was rare for this configuration but a few games supported it? (Dune, Descent, etc?) Orpheus II is Sound Blaster Pro 2 compatible so it supports OPL3 in stereo mode. Dune only works in OPL3 with an AdLib …
