My complaint is more about the SDL, zlib, and libpng sources.... the VS solutions are just horrible... and SDL_net is not even available to download from the main page. Ok, I have completely changed the fullscreen optimization concept. Now there's a 'Minimize to System Tray' option in the main menu. Before making DosBox fullscreen you have to use this to put FSMP to system tray. There are many changes in the windowing system because of this change so some glitches …

Windows 7, my own DosBox SVN build, output D3D, using the package you mentioned in that thread, which is where I found that this could be actually done with your MIDI player, the presets I tested open no windows, any other particular option I should be looking out for? Thanks 😀

Thanks 😀 My report: fulfilling the conditions (only main window is open and I wait at least 15 secs.), sadly, it doesn't work for me: DosBox still gets minimized 🙁 Edit: should the playlist also be empty?

Just for the sake of completeness, I captured the output of the internal audio card. Indeed, sound plays fine using that one.

I didn't record the video in my original post, actually I found it when trying to figure out if it happened to someone else. The video exhibits basically the same symptoms...the odds of the guy having the exact same setup as me are rather low. In any case, at least for me, the problem's solved.

I'm thinking "built in internal audio" My audio attachment was made with the wave capture function in DOSBox (Ctrl-F6), and how the host renders audio is irrelevant for that. Are you recording some other way? It's, definitely, not irrelevant at all and I recorded using the sound card's stereo …

Both 0.74 official and my own build, the samples were recorded with the official one. Edit: For the sake of completeness, here's how it looks when recorded with the internal thingie. Zooming in the graph, indeed, shows a number of clipped parts.
