For Windows XP I kept my FX8350 in 2020 when upgraded to 3700x, alongside with 980Ti (has Windows XP drivers) . No need to buy a retro hardware. Works great. I also added Audigy 2 ZS. I have recently purchased two Via C3 CPUs, both the 800A, one built in 2001 and it's the 1.35V version, the other was built in 2004 and it's the 1.25V version. The first is an Ezra (or T) core and the second probably Nehemiah?

After long time I've tested the PCIset command. Setmul works with AXMH2500FQQ4C and now I can have 3x multiplier. Finally! CPU set at 300 MHz!!! Throttle and everything working great!

I have multiple VLB I/O controllers. Some have dual IDE channel, some other not. I also bought one with SCSI alongside with IDE headers. But in my i486Dx2 66 MHz I'm using the PT-627 B revision with dual IDE channels with no issues.

Thanks. I found the culprit for this behavior. The maximum size of the HDD, was 127GB, scandiskw needs less than 32GB to work under Windows 95. I made some tests, it runssss! But I have an issue now. I played Fifa 99 back then with both the Voodoo 2 and the Voodoo 3. I only used the patch I mentioned you. I also used on my latest 3Dfx vintage build with Voodoo 3 3000 AGP and it works.

Ok thank's I found the programs, earlier DOS versions that working with 256k AMi bios, but the unbranded bios hasn't entry to put Tulip Computers logo, only the name on the string. Anyway, the Tulip branded bios has the windows based AMI bios, strange I never saw it on non 486 class motherboards.

I believe that those patches were only meant to be used in the Japanese version. Latest for Windows was the 1.1.0.
