Are you using TIE Fighter Collector's Edition CD like me, the plain 7-mission CD version, or the floppy-based version? What kind of joystick do you have? I have a Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold. If you're still having trouble with the keymapper, it might be easier to use whatever key programming software came with your joystick; I used Profiler with TIE Fighter Collector's Edition without DOSBox for a year.

English Readme for Windows

Sourceforge hosts several foreign language read-me guides seperately from the DosBox download, but the English version isn't among them. I can't access the English read-me, and downloading it again will probably fix it. Please post the read-me file.
